THE TAMARA
Set within the mist-laden hills of Coorg, The Tamara is an intimate luxury retreat immersed in dense rainforest and coffee plantations. Perched at 3,500 feet above sea level, the resort’s elevated cottages are designed to frame sweeping valley views while maintaining a deep sense of privacy and stillness. Architecture and interiors draw from the region’s Kodava heritage, blending natural materials with understated contemporary detailing. Guests can explore guided plantation walks, sunrise treks, and curated cultural experiences, or unwind at the award-winning Elevation Spa. Dining centers around locally inspired cuisine served at The Falls, where panoramic vistas accompany every meal, creating a stay defined by immersion, tranquility, and a strong connection to the land.

PARADERO HOTELS
Described as a "high-design landscaping project with luxurious suites," the Paradero Hotel is designed to disappear into its desert backdrop. The property is situated at the base of the Sierra Laguna Mountains in Mexico's Todos Santos. Its concrete exterior is meant to blend into the sandy landscape as if it were shaped by the harsh desert winds, while native fauna and botanicals further integrate the structure into the scenery. Accommodations include a variety of suites with terraces overlooking the cacti, artisan-made hammocks, and outdoor soaking tubs, and decorated with natural textures with handmade furnishings. All of the rooms have access to the spa and half-moon infinity pool.
